New cases of Cabin Fever reportedly heading our way!

One of the emotionally disturbing film series ever made returns for two new bouts. When I saw Eli Roth's debut, Cabin Fever, I was blown away. It was surreal, engrossing, and most of all, disturbing. Compassion takes a back seat as the human survival instinct kicks in and destroys a group of college friends in the mist of a flesh eating viral outbreak.

Then in Ti West's ill fated sequel, the virus continues its path of destruction during a high school prom. That film is a gross out nightmare that will challege your stomach for sure. Now there are two sequels coming our way from Indomina Films.

Sean Astin, Brando Eaton and Ben Hollingsworth will star in Indomina's "Cabin Fever: Patient Zero," with Kaare Andrews directing. Andrews is a former comic book writer and artist whose  work includes Marvel Comics' "The Incredible Hulk," "Ultimate X-Men" and "Spider-Man: Reign."

The set up for Patient Zero is as follows: A bachelor party cruise in the Caribbean that unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical research island, where a deadly virus is unleashed.

This film will roll into "Cabin Fever: Outbreak" where a doctor tries to save his family and the residents of a remote Caribbean island where a deadly outbreak threatens their existence.

Stay tuned.
